Absence During the Last Portion of a Semester

Failure to complete a class without an authorized withdrawal will result in the grade of F.

If a student is not in attendance during the last portion of a semester, the instructor may report a grade of I if there is reason to believe that the absence was beyond the student's control; otherwise the instructor shall record a grade of FN (Failure, non-attendance) and last date of documented class attendance. FN is converted to F on the student's academic record.
