Additional Transcript Services
Helpful Hints
- Final grades are posted approximately 11 days following the last day of classes for a semester except for the Maurer School of Law. These grades will be posted approximately three weeks later.
- Most final degrees are posted to the transcript within 30 days of your actual degree conferral date. If you're not sure, view your Unofficial Transcript on the Student Self-Service page (accessible via a link in the sidebar) on the Services tab in OneStart to verify that final degrees have been recorded and will appear on your official transcript or contact your school recorder if you have questions about degree conferral dates.
- Independent Study (correspondence) work is posted once final grades are received from the School of Continuing Studies (roughly three weeks after your final exam/lesson is received). If a specific Independent Study course(s) should be included on your transcript, please include the course number(s). Requests submitted to us before you have completed your final exercise will be returned for you to re-submit at a later date.
To receive a copy of your official transcript, all financial obligations to the University must be clear/current. This includes your account with the Office of the Bursar (812)855-2636, Student Loan Administration (812)855-4511, or the Dean of Students/Greek Housing (812)855-8187. If you have any past balance due with any of these offices, there will be a "hold" on your record and we will not be able to issue your transcript. If you think you might have any past debt to any of these offices, please contact that office for clearance before issuing your transcript request. If you are unsure about any possible account holds, give us a call and we can check the status for you (812)855-7505.
